Rubeus Milano: its founder tells her story

The story of Nataliya Bondarenko, the founder, and CEO of Rubeus Milano, which offers handmade designs in the luxury segment from jewelry to bags, perfumes to clothes.

Rubeus Milano was born in 2013. The brand started with a bag collection inspired by the great and powerful women of the past: artists Tamara Lempiski and Frida Kahlo, and photographer, model, and actress Tina Modotti. Tamara, Frida, and Tina's handbags combined arts and crafts. The complex but clear lines of these models revealed the architectural background of founder Nataliya Bondarenko. She created the Venice collection for the 2016 Venice Biennale. It was implemented in collaboration with the textile company Luigi Bevilacqua. In 2018, they launched their first fragrance Rubeus Rouge and their first fragrance collection Tutti Frutti. Owning her own perfume line and creating a fragrance was Nataliya Bondarenko's dream. They now have two fragrance collections: Tutti Frutti and Venetian Gardens (launched in Venice in September 2021). Imperial Alexandrite, the first high jewelry collection in 2019, was unveiled at the Louvre in July. They launched the first Rubeus Fine Jewelry Duomo collection in 2021.

Rubeus is strongest in bags and perfumes. Bags always reveal the strength of the brand. The uniqueness of your style and perfume makes your image unique.

Its website describes Rubeus as “a world where Italian heritage meets timeless elegance to define a captivating vision of ultimate luxury.”

The brand has two seasons a year: Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter. Their latest collection, Fall/Winter 2023, is quite sparkly with different colors and materials from black to fuchsia and from laminated calf leather to viola suede. There are also mini bags suitable for every occasion.
