Muhammad was born in 571 in Mecca. He lost his father Abdullah before he was born and his mother Amine after he was born. After these events, he came under the protection of his grandfather Abdulmuttalib. After his grandfather died, he started to live with his uncle Abu Talib. Before he became a prophet, Muhammad was known for his honesty and good morals. For this reason, he received the title of "Al Emin", that is, "the safest person".
When he was 25 years old, Muhammad had 6 children from this marriage. The names of their children are; Kasım, Abdullah, Zeynep, Rukiye, Ümmü Gülsüm and Fatma. Muhammad would occasionally go to the Hira Cave on Mount Nur. In 610, Gabriel, known as the angel of revelation, came to Hira Cave and gave the command to "read", the first revelation. The first Muslim people were treated badly by the Meccan pagans, such as insults, persecution, ridicule and boycott. The Prophet and the believers migrated from Mecca to Medina in 622, when Muslims became unable to sit in Mecca. The Muslims of Medina got along very well with the emigrants of Mecca. Thus, the Islamic State of Medina was established. With the establishment of the state, the polytheists began to attack the Muslim people.
The first war with the polytheists was the Battle of Badr in 624. With the victory of the Muslims in the Battle of Badr, the religion of Islam spread rapidly. The Muslims lost the Battle of Uhud that followed. Finally, the Battle of the Trench was fought and the Muslim people won this battle. In 630, St. Mecca was conquered under the leadership of Muhammad. All of the idols in the Kaaba were broken and the Kaaba became a mosque for Muslims.
Muhammad went on pilgrimage for the last time with the Muslim people in 632. This is also known as the Farewell Pilgrimage. The Prophet addressed 100 thousand Muslims during the Farewell Hajj.
