Conan O'Brien took over as host of The Tonight Show from Jay Leno on June 1, 2009.

In 2010, he left 'The Tonight Show', which he hosted on NBC television, to Jay Leno again, in exchange for a total deal of 45 million dollars, 12 million dollars for his employees, and 33 million dollars for himself. Conan O'Brien, who was banned from working on another channel until September 2010, started his new show called Conan on TBS on November 8, 2010.

Conan O'Brien married Liza Powell O'Brien on January 12, 2002. He has two children, a daughter, Neve O'Brien (b.2003), and a son, Beckett O'Brien (b.2005).
