Angelina Jolie's father, Jon Voight, who is also an actor, made a name for himself with his short dance performance at the White House, where he was to receive the National Medal of Arts. The American press wrote that Voight stole a role from Donald Trump with this dance.

Voight, who won a Golden Globe for his role in the 1969 film Midnight Cowboy, got up from his seat and danced on the ceremony stage. Trump laughed at this scene and applauded Voight.

Addressing Voight in his speech, Trump said, "I love having you here, especially because you are someone I really like," and praised the actor's performances in his films, from Mission: Impossible to The Champ.

While Voight's son James Haven attended the ceremony, where First Lady Melania Trump was also present, his daughter Angelina Jolie could not attend due to her work in the United Nations on equality between men and women and in refugee areas.

Jon Voight, the father of Hollywood celebrity Angelina Jolie, reacted to his daughter's statements about Israel.

84-year-old Voight described Israel and Palestine as "sacred and God's lands for Jews" in the video he shot accompanied by the American flag.

Voight continued his statements by saying, "The Israeli army is obliged to protect its people and land. This is a war and it is not possible for it to proceed in a civilized manner as the left wing thinks." He continued with his sentences.

Voight also criticized his daughter Angelina Jolie's previous statements about Israel.

Jolie commented about Israel, "What happened in Israel is an act of terrorism, but this cannot justify the innocent lives lost by the bombing of civilians in Gaza."

Angelina Jolie's father criticized his daughter's views by saying, "I am disappointed that my daughter, like most people, does not understand the dignity of God and the truth of God."

Voight also joined the "legends" with his dance in the music video of a song by Fatboy Slim.
