Singer and actress Selena Gomez appears in front of the camera for the biopic of iconic rock star and 11-time Grammy award-winning singer Linda Ronstadt.
The biography film, produced by James Keach, focuses on the life story of Linda Ronstadt, a rare female artist in the male-dominated rock scene of the 1970s and 1980s. Since the biopic is still in production, Ronstadt and Gomez explained that, as two singers of Mexican origin, they prepared for this project by getting to know each other and discussing the project.

She broke records as one of the highest-grossing concert artists of the decade. Known as the “Queen of Rock,” Ronstadt has been honored with an 11-time Grammy and an Emmy, and many of her albums have been certified gold, platinum, or multiplatinum in the United States and internationally.

This song brought Ronstadt her first Grammy nomination, in the category known at the time as contemporary female vocal performance.
