TV series
The Persuaders
It was a 24-episode series consisting of the adventures of oil billionaire Danny Wilde (Tony Curtis) and Oxford-educated British nobleman Lord Brett Sinclair (Roger Moore), an officer in the British army and former Formula pilot, in the French Riviera, Italy, and London.
The series was very popular, but there was no sequel due to Roger Moore signing an agreement for the James Bond movie.
The music of the series, which was carried by the classiest of adventures and the subtlest jokes, by John Barry, was perhaps one of the best of all time and has never been forgotten.
