Shawn Peter Raul Mendes was born on August 8, 1998 in Toronto Ontario Canada. He was born the son of his mother Karen of England and his father Manuel Mendes of Portugal. His mother is a real estate agent and his father is a Toronto bar and restaurant supply businessman. Mendes graduated from Pine Ridge Middle School in June 2016.
