How would you describe your own style and signature?
I want to keep it as short and simple as possible, and I trust my motto: Architectural Floral Experiences Worldwide… This includes the added value I bring to invitations, events, celebrations, and weddings. It serves my purpose to express emotions with the language of flowers beyond borders, to bring an artistic design to life within the client's commercial framework. I am known as a 'poet' among floral designers because of my unique style and the effort I put into making everything special. We imagine unique floral art in every event we create and our signature style focuses on gorgeous architectural and conceptual floral space design. My passion for perfection, functionality, creativity, and perfection has become my brand.
Which of your achievements are you most proud of?
The events I created for the Mukesh Ambani Family in Mumbai, India are the ones I am most proud of… And the part of these projects that I am particularly proud of was creating a fund with millions of flowers for a wedding ceremony. Since the backdrop was inspired by a scene in nature, it had to be done in a perfect color palette. Working on the huge design surface was difficult, but luckily I had the right skilled people with me who understood the concept, were able to apply a two-dimensional design and give it a three-dimensional feel. These projects reinforce my creativity and give me the energy to always do my best.
What was the most magical place you organized a wedding?
First of all, I am very lucky and grateful to work with outstanding companies in the event industry. One of the most magical places where I planned a wedding was Jaipur, India. A wedding city was built from real stones, hills, and ponds that reflect the landscape of Jaipur's birth, the 1700s. Creating a culturally rooted city was our biggest criterion. Wedding theme inspiration; inspired by the region of the celebration Rajasthan. The guests were greeted by families under a magnificent ostentatious hats. I integrated fire and fountains into my flower installations. I brought together different elements from the floral design world to develop a new concept.
What should brides consider when choosing a floral designer?
Find the perfect floral designer and let your personality shine through on your wedding flowers. If you feel that everything about your wedding should be more than just a simple business relationship, you should look for the right match between you and your floral designer. Make sure the people around you look after you and your interests. Knowing the right things when looking for a designer paves the way for you to a beautiful and unique event. Remember that flowers reflect emotions… The flowers you choose on your wedding day speak for you, so make sure you choose the flower that best suits your character.
What are the most important details that make a wedding unique?
There is a very simple answer: Married couples! Every wedding should be designed to reflect the uniqueness of the couple. At this point, it is the designer's job to give the message to the couples with the right flowers, colors, and different combinations.
What advice would you give to young couples planning their wedding?
Let me give you 5 golden tips:
1. Show your personality!
2. You have to communicate well with the designer to build trust. When that big day comes, you need to be able to trust the people you choose to achieve the best possible outcome.
3. Research the designer of your choice! Dive into their portfolios and see what they've offered before in their careers. A good designer should showcase all the wedding concepts he has designed. You don't have to work with a designer versatile enough to adapt to all your needs. The designer should not lose the elements of his signature style while reflecting your personality.
4. If you are going to have a destination wedding, one of the most important things to consider is the designer's capacity to select the right collaborators and the right production company in a foreign environment. In this respect, again, a designer's portfolio can offer a lot of information that can guide you in your decision. For example, if you have a designer who has worked all over the world, the destination wedding can easily be handled. But if you have a local florist who has rarely worked outside of her geographic area, you should reconsider whether to work with her for your destination wedding.
5. The communication process between you and the designer you have chosen should proceed in the form of questions and answers. I always advise my clients to answer questions clearly. The designer who asks you questions and wonders about your different aspects may be the right choice for you!
