Anders Povlsen was only 27 years old when he became the sole owner of the Bestseller inherited from his father. By 2007, the Bestseller was so successful that supermodel Gisele Bundchen was hired to promote it. After just five years, Povlsen had amassed enough wealth to become Asos' largest shareholder. As of 2019, Povlsen's fortune, which owns 25% of Asos, is equivalent to 866 million pounds in 2019.
