He was born in 1990 in Los Angeles. Following in his father's footsteps, he enrolled at Stanford University. The choice of university was one of the most important moments in Spiegel's life. Because the young billionaire founded Snapchat with Bobby Murphy and Reggie Brown, whom he met here. Snapchat, which started out as a course project in college, soon ceased to be a simple assignment. Facebook, which acquired Instagram in 2012 for 1 billion dollars, offered Spiegel 3 times more than this offer in 2013. However, Spiegel turned down Facebook's $3 billion offer and continued on his own. Spiegel, who received a serious investment in 2015, did not hesitate to invest in himself and bought his first Ferrari this year. On the way to becoming the star of technology news, Spiegel was on the agenda of the tabloid press in 2016. Spiegel, who fell in love with supermodel Miranda Kerr, who broke up with Orlando Bloom, bought a $12 million mansion in 2016 to live with Miranda Kerr.
The couple announced their engagement two months later. Kerr did not leave Spiegel alone during the IPO. The famous model took a lot of snaps with her employees and friends and shared them with her followers on her account.
