He declared himself king in Germany: Who is Peter Fitzek?

Here is Peter Fitzek, who lives in Germany, a lucky name who managed to fulfill his childhood dream, albeit in a somewhat unusual way. Peter Fitzek declared himself the king of a so-called kingdom he founded in Germany!

Moreover, there are thousands of people who have adopted Fitzek as their ruler today! Here's what you need to know about Peter Fitzek or rather Peter I as he was commonly known among his subjects...

Peter Fitzek was born in 1965 in the German state of Saxony.

Fitzek, who received culinary education in his youth, made a living as a cook for a while. In the following period, he worked in a number of different jobs, including as a karate instructor.

Peter Fitzek first took action in 2008 to fulfill his dreams of becoming a “manager”

In 2008, he ran for mayor in the city of Wittenberg, where he lives, in the state of Saxony. However, he managed to get only 0.7 percent of the votes. However, Fitzek did not give up on his childhood dreams. In 2009, he competed as an independent candidate to be elected as a deputy from the same region this time. However, Fitzek's vote rate once again remained at 0.7 percent. Fitzek had to try unconventional methods to become ruler…

Peter Fitzek, who failed to become a manager with traditional and legitimate methods, founded an association called “NeuDeutschland” (New Germany) in 2009.

The association declared its main purpose as “returning Germany to its pre-1937 borders”. On the other hand, Fitzek and the members of the association, Germany believes that since the end of World War II it has been "ruled by foreign powers under an occupation constitution". Accordingly, they argue that the Federal Republic of Germany is not a sovereign state.

Based on this idea, Fitzek and his entourage came up with a very creative idea, as they believed that there was no sovereign country in the lands they lived in: to establish a new country!

Fitzek's NeuDeutschland ideal was also adopted among members of the right-wing extremist group "Reichsbürger" in Germany.

Members of the Reichsbürger, just like Fitzek and his friends, claim that there is no sovereign state in Germany, they do not recognize the authority of the state and the constitution. Although it is not an organized structure, it is known that thousands of people spread throughout the country are supporters of the structure called Reichsbürger. Here Fitzek's NeuDeutschland idea was met with great satisfaction among the supporters of the structure called Reichsbürger. For this reason, there has been a significant increase in the number of Fitzek's followers.

With a significant increase in followers, Fitzek started working on the technical details of establishing a new country!

Fitzek and his followers made a great effort to determine the foundations of the new country they would establish, what kind of path they would follow in the international arena, and what the form of government would be… Finally, by 2012, Fitzek was ready to fulfill his childhood dream!

Peter Fitzek announced the establishment of the new country named “Königreich Deutschland” (Kingdom of Germany) on September 16, 2012!

About 600 followers of Fitzek also witnessed these historical moments. From this date on, Peter Fitzek became Peter I, and his followers became subjects of the new kingdom…

Citizens of the country called Königreich Deutschland have their own identity cards as in any other country in the world

The country even has its own flag. However, the citizens of Königreich Deutschland, who reject the existence of the Federal Republic of Germany, do not accept it into the country's constitution. Of course, this gap is filled by the laws of Königreich Deutschland.

According to these laws, for example, children who do not want to go to school are not obliged! Also, the inhabitants of the kingdom do not have to pay taxes for Peter I! Peter I collects "aid" instead of taxes. New lands added to the country's land are also purchased largely thanks to these aids.

Some of subjects of Peter I state that the country has a highly developed understanding of the welfare state.

Some citizens say that the kingdom is able to afford everything they need in daily life. Accordingly, the citizens of the kingdom have no problems with food, shelter, or social security…

Today, it is stated that Peter I ruled over a subject of 5 to 6 thousand people. However, Peter I and Königreich Deutschland did not go unnoticed by the Federal Republic of Germany. It is stated that Peter I was followed closely by the German state, especially as he became popular among the Reichsbürger structure. Because it is stated that this far-right group may take action to create chaos in Germany.
