By 1920, the company headquarters were moved from Buckinghamshire to another UK city, Kensington. After this move in 1920, the company produced two vehicles for the French Grand Prix two years later. The most important feature of these racing vehicles produced under the name of Aston Martin is that the vehicles are made by hand. Two racing vehicles produced by this brand, where the handicrafts of its employees are at the forefront, showed up successfully in the French Grand Prix and managed to complete the race without any accident.

However, despite this glorious start, the company entered a period of serious depression in 1925 and eventually financial problems caused the company to terminate its operations. Although it was in financial trouble, the company that was saved in 1926 became a new company and changed its name to Aston Martin Motor LTD. Gaining a serious momentum after this change, Aston Martin made a breakthrough in 3 years and dedicated itself to producing racing-based vehicles. In addition to the vehicles produced in this period, developments were also recorded in the field of engineering and design. By 1928, the company started to produce cars for the world-famous Le Mans 24 Hour races in France by taking a serious job. In this organization, the vehicles competing under the Aston Martin brand showed a very successful performance.
