When and how did humanity meet the iPhone?
Announced by Apple in January 2007, the iPhone could play music, take photos, browse the Internet, send emails, play movies and store up to 8 gigabytes of data.
The device also had wireless Internet connection (Wi-Fi), calculator, calendar and notepad. All the features of the device could be managed via a touch screen that covered almost the entire surface of the device. And of course, it was also possible to make phone calls using the device.
With its large screen, almost no buttons on it and its unique design, the iPhone was far ahead of its competitors in terms of design. Unlike its competitors, the device didn't look like a phone. However, the first iPhone did not sell as well as expected. With this device, Apple has reached 5% of the world smartphone market. The main reason why the first version of the device did not sell as well as expected was the price of the device at $ 599, in addition to the two-year contract price. This price was later reduced to $399.
In July 2008, Apple introduced the faster and improved iPhone 3G device. Apple's then-CEO Steve Jobs is included in the list of inventors of the iPhone, but it is known that an elite staff within Apple worked on the production and development of the device.
