Alfred Hitchcock; grew up in an ultra-conservative Catholic family. He has made statements that he had a repressed and lonely childhood. One memory in particular is very striking. His father sent Hitchcock to the police station with a note on the grounds that he was misbehaving.

The famous director did not serve in the military because he was too overweight. He was exempt from military service because he lived during the First World War and had weight and height problems. In fact, being exempt from military service was a great advantage in terms of his career. Hitchcock, the greatest director of all time, married Alma Reville in 1926. The couple had a daughter named Pat Hitchcock.

Alfred Hitchcock was known among his friends as a practical joker. The director, who loves to joke very much, showed this feature clearly in the movie "The 39 Steps". He played a tragicomic joke on the other actors of the film.

He said that while the shooting of the movie was going on, he handcuffed actors Robert Donat and Madeline Carroll and then lost the key. But on the contrary, the key was not lost but was hidden by him. The players were handcuffed for several hours. He then took out the key and set the players free.

Alfred Hitchcock passed away on April 29, 1980, due to kidney failure. While he was fighting his illness, he could not go to the places he needed to travel. Hitchcock, who had a pacemaker inserted into his heart, was trying to stay afloat with cortisone injections.
