His full name is Christian Charles Philip Bale. Bale was born on January 30, 1974, in Pembrokeshire, Wales, England. His mother was Jenny James, a circus clown, and his father was pilot David Bale. He has two older sisters, Sharon and Louise, and a half-sister, Erin, from his father's first marriage.
