David Fincher's Educational Life
When David Fincher was only two years old, the whole family immigrated to California. Thanks to this migration, David Fincher became neighbors with George Lucas, who designed Star Wars. The movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was released in 1969 when the famous director was seven years old. Impressed by the film, Fincher shot films with his father's 8 mm camera.

David Fincher's Career
The turning point in David Fincher's career was his work as a production assistant at Korty Films in the 1980s. After distinguishing himself here, he was soon promoted to the position of special effects producer. He later starred in the animated film Twice Upon a Time.
Immediately afterward, he became a camera assistant at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), the company owned by George Lucas. He worked on the films Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Star Wars: Episode VI-Return of the Jedi. However, he had to leave ILM to take part in the shooting of commercials for the American Cancer Foundation.
David Fincher attracted attention with the unique vision he developed in his public service announcement commercials.
