Paul McCartney and his star did not make peace: Who is George Harrison?

The two young people, who met in their adolescence, promised each other a better life. Caught up in the rock 'n' roll storm like all his peers, Harrison began to further his love of music by buying a guitar for £3 at the age of 14.

In 1962, he joined the Beatles, a group that would shake the music world for years. Harrison has always been remembered as the most reluctant Beatles member, and he has always admitted to having mixed feelings about the band's extraordinary success.

In his book "I, Me, Mine", which he wrote in 1979, Harrison described his thoughts about the fatigue of this adventure and experience and the feeling of this fame.

George Harrison (25 February 1943 – 29 November 2001) was an English musician, singer and songwriter who achieved international fame as the lead guitarist of the Beatles. Sometimes called "the quiet Beatle", Harrison embraced Indian culture and helped broaden the scope of popular music through his incorporation of Indian instrumentation and Hindu-aligned spirituality in the Beatles' work. Although the majority of the band's songs were written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, most Beatles albums from 1965 onwards contained at least two Harrison compositions. His songs for the group include "Taxman", "Within You Without You", "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "Here Comes the Sun" and "Something".

He attributed the reason for their bad fate to their inability to preserve their individuality, which he found very important, and made the analogy of "we were like monkeys in the zoo."

Although he criticized the band, he was with them, but he felt in the background and said, "John and Paul were the stars of the band." After the group broke up, Paul McCartney and his star did not make peace, but they were very close to John Lennon. He loved him very much.

But in an interview he gave to The Daily Telegraph in 1992, he took a more optimistic approach and said, "We experienced a fast life and then laughed about it for years."

Harrison released his highly successful solo album "All Things Must Pass" after the Beatles broke up. In 1979, he produced the movie "Monty Python's Life of Brian". He also produced the films "The Long Good Friday", "Time Bandits" and "Mona Lisa".

In the 1980s, he founded the band "Cloud Nine" with Jeff Lynne, the leader of the band ELO. They later joined Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and Roy Orbison to form "The Traveling Wilburys".

After this tumultuous life, Harrison succumbed to cancer on November 29, 2001. With his death, the only survivors of the legendary band were Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.

John Lennon was shot by a fan in 1980. Harrison, the silent member of the Beatles, made a significant contribution to the band's legendary songs by mixing rock 'n' roll and mysticism.
