Kenzo Takada, who sold Kenzo to the luxury fashion company LVMH Group in 1993, retired in 1999. Kenzo Takada, one of the prolific names of fashion, created 8 thousand different designs from clothes to shoes, from perfumes to bags. At the same time, he is a name that created the first Japanese brand that first opened to France and then to the world, and pioneered others such as Yohji Yamamoto and Issey Miyake.

Kenzo Takada received the Legion d'Honneur award from the French government in 2016.
