The 41-year-old Trinidadian rapper and singer was performing at E11EVEN nightclub in Miami on Sunday night, December 31, 2023, when her 2012 hit song started playing.
In the fan-shot TikTok video, Minaj begins singing the song's opening lyrics before waving her hand to signal them to stop singing.
"Wait, it was a joke, it was a joke," Minaj interjects when the music suddenly stops. The crowd can be heard shouting in frustration.
The singer adds, "I don't play this song anymore, guys. I don't like it, what do you want me to do? Stupid song."
