Who is Nuri Şahin?

He was born on September 5, 1988, in Lüdenscheid, Germany.

He started playing football in the youth team of RSV Meinerzhagen, one of the teams of his hometown.

He improved himself by transferring to Borussia Dortmund youth team in 2001.

In the 2005-2006 season, he was selected for the Dortmund A team, playing in the Intertoto Cup and becoming the youngest player of his team to play in European cups.

Nuri Şahin, who started playing football in RSV Meinerzhagen, one of the local teams of his birthplace, was transferred to Borussia Dortmund's infrastructure in 2001.

Şahin's first professional match, whose star rose in Borussia at the beginning of the 2005-06 season, was the away match against Sigma Olomouc in the Intertoto Cup.

Şahin entered the game in the 66th minute and became Borussia Dortmund's youngest player to play in European matches.
