Ryan Rodney Reynolds was born on October 23, 1976 in Vancouver, British Columbia. His father, James Chester Reynolds, was a Royal Canadian Mounted Policeman before retiring from the police and working as a food wholesaler. His mother, Tamara Lee, worked in retail.
