Who is this Jeffrey Epstein and what exactly did he do?

Financier Jeffrey Epstein was arrested in July 2019 on charges of sex trafficking and conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking, while he was prevented from being released on bail before the trial began.

Epstein was found dead in his cell while in prison. Upon this, the doctor who examined it announced that Epstein had taken his own life.

Having a high-profile social circle, Jeffrey's friends included Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, and Prince Andrew, son of Queen Elizabeth.

On July 8, 2019, federal prosecutors charged financier Jeffrey Epstein with conspiring with underage children to engage in sex trafficking, and more.

Appearing in court, Epstein pleaded not guilty and pleaded not guilty to all charges. Of course, during this time his application for bail was rejected and he remained in prison until August 10, 2019, when he died in a suicide attempt, which several media outlets confirmed.

Epstein began his career as a math teacher at an elite school in New York. He worked at an investment bank in the 1970s before starting his own company in 1982. He later founded his own company but structured it in the US Virgin Islands due to tax regulations.

Epstein lived in a stately home and paid large sums of money to large corporations for various reasons, but the source of their income was uncertain.

Although he was referred to as a billionaire by his circle, it was claimed by Forbes that he was not. According to the data released after his death, his fortune was worth $577,672,654.

Despite being sentenced to 18 months in prison for sexually abusing a young child in 2008, he was allowed to work in an office outside the prison 6 days a week. His imprisonment, which was a total of 18 months, ended in the 13th month.

Epstein was arrested at the airport on the day he returned to the United States from France on July 6. The next day, federal prosecutors included the following statements in Jeffrey's indictment when he was arrested: "For many years, he sexually abused and exploited dozens of young girls in his Palm Beach home."

In addition, prosecutors added to the indictment that some girls were paid to bring other girls and that girls under the age of 14 were attacked.

After his arrest, police searched his home and found nude photos of underage girls from his home.

In July 2020, Ghislaine Maxwell, whom we know as his ex-girlfriend and longtime partner, was arrested for Epstein's aid in sex trafficking. Of course, there are many unknowns about Epstein.

Virginia Roberts is one of Epstein's victims and is at the forefront of the case against him. Roberts also says she was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew when she was 16.
