Valeriy Pylypovych Borzov (born 20 October 1949) is a Soviet-Ukrainian former sprinter and politician. He is a two-time Olympian, a former president of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, and Minister for Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

He showed herself as one of the fastest athletes in the world at these distances. In 1969, he became the European champion in the 100m with a time of 10.4. Although he won the European championship with 6.6 in the 60 m in the indoor competitions the following year, he could not break the world record of 6.4 he had set two years ago in this distance. He won the 100m and 200m titles at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games.
