Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman (born September 1, 1996), known as Zendaya, is an American teen actress, singer, dancer, and model. She began her career at a young age with a dance group called Future Shock Oakland, as part of the Orinda California Shakespeare Theatre, Oakland School's for the Arts, and Call Shakes' summer conservatory program. As a teenager, she starred in the Kidz Bop version of Katy Perry's hit single, Hot n Cold. She started her professional career working at Macy's, Mervyn's, and Old Navy.
